Two Bad Mice
The Emperor's New Clothes

In this colorful musical favorite based on the story by Hans Christian Andersen, a vain Emperor cares for nothing but his clothes. The villainous Minister of the Royal Robes uses the Emperor's weakness to rob the royal weavers and take control of the palace. A daring rogue named Ting convinces the Emperor that he can weave a cloth so fine that it cannot be seen by anyone who is evil or unfit to serve the Emperor. Everyone in the kingdom is afraid to admit that he cannot see the fine new clothes until the day the Emperor parades through the streets of the city in his royal underwear!

Jennifer and Timothy spend an exciting afternoon pretending that they are in Japan and Norway, and in Mexico they dance the Mexican hat dance!!

(Based on a story by Beatrix Potter and dramatized by
Catherine Eaker)
These
two "bad mice" have climbed into the Patchwork Players' story trunk to
visit your group! Hunca Munca and Tom Thumb have made a mess of the doll house!
They have broken the dishes and thrown play food on the floor . They are very
hungry - they haven't had anything to eat in days and days, and they are
searching here and there and everywhere for a little crumb to eat! Tom Thumb and
Hunca Munca are not really bad, but they are so hungry they do something bad.
Johnny Town Mouse

Johnny lives in a big town house with a lot of other mice where there are wonderful things to eat - that is if you can stay out of the way of the cook. the cat, and the family dog! Timothy Mouse sleeps on straw in a little house of his own in the middle of a farm where a cow, a pig and a rooster live too! What an exciting visit they had!
